Student Cell Phone & Personal Device Policy
2026–2027 School Year
Our Goal: To provide a safe, focused, and distraction-free learning environment that promotes academic achievement, positive social interaction, and student engagement while complying with California's student smartphone policy requirements under AB 3216.

🔕 Class Time |
Phones, earbuds, smartwatches, and headphones must be silenced and out of sight. |

🚶 Passing Periods |
Devices remain in backpacks while moving between classes. |

🍎 Lunch |
Phone use is allowed only in designated phone zone areas. |

🚫 Misuse |
No taking pictures, recording, bullying, cheating, or inappropriate social media use. |
|
⭐ Exceptions |
Teacher permission, IEP/504 accommodations, medical needs, or emergencies. |
|
Any type of Meta glasses and portable speakers are not allowed on campus. These items will be confiscated for parent pick up if the items are brought on campus. |
Keep Meta glasses and portable speakers at home. Bringing these items to school will result in immediate confiscation for parent pick up. |
